... should not be confused with the Dupuytren fracture, which is a variation on Pott's fracture – a particular fracture of the ankle.
Baron Guillaume Dupuytren (1777–1835) was a French anatomist and military surgeon from Napoleonic times. His name is very hard to spell and to pronounce (for English people at least) but very easy to type, because the letters U, Y, T, R, and E are right next to each other on the top row of the keyboard (reading backwards).
